7-Segment Display Tool

Project Completed: 1999

Introduction

I like to make circuit boards with parts that are often wired up on my prototype boards. This is six 7-Segment displays, multiplexed together. The board runs on 5V and it uses transistors and resistors to handle the current, so a 5V microcontroller can drive the board with very little current (it was designed for future use with a PIC microcontroller). The connection strip has holes the same size as a prototype board for quick connection.
